Our VP of R&D, Rafael Gonzalez, will be speaking at Keck Graduate Institute’s 3rd Annual Research Symposium. This two day event will focus on Huntington’s Disease “From Basic Science to Therapy”. Dr Gonzalez will discuss the use of primary, progenitor and stem cells for drug discovery and development. The use of primary, progenitor and stem cells for drug discovery and development or in vitro systems are in high demand because they are not transfected, cancerous or immortalized in any way. They may closer mimic the in vivo system and offer an alternative to drug testing on animals. He will discuss production of such cells for market.
